Our Body is the Vehicle
We use to sense, interact with and
experience our physical world. It is a physical duplicate of our energetic body,
also called astral or etheric body. Our bodies are used to house our spiritual
self, which returns to source energy when our earthly body’s mission is
complete.
It is by our body that we function. It's comprised
of organs and cells which consists of protein carbohydrates and fats. Our
body contains our nervous system with nerves and the brain. It's through
our bodies that we connect to the physical world with our five sense

Our soul/mind
is what gives us our personality and it’s through our soul that we live out our
relationship with God, with other people and with our self. Our mind has a conscious
part and a subconscious part. The conscious mind is where we do our thinking and
reasoning. The sub-conscious mind is where we hold our deep beliefs and our
attitudes. It’s also where we have our feeling, our emotions and retain our
memories. Our will is what gives us the ability to make choices. Through a very
complex way, our mind, our will and our emotions are connected to the body
through our endocrine, nervous and immune systems.

Essence:
An element of being ~ in ways that cultivate awareness, insight, empathy, and
wisdom.
It’s in our spirit
that we have meaning and purpose in life. At the deepest level our spirit
enables us to love one another, our self and God. Our spirit gives us intuition
between right and wrong.

Well-Being encompasses all our parts, not just the physical
body. When our emotions are in turmoil or our mind is bombarded
with obsessive thoughts our health is compromised. It is
important to create balance in your life by nurturing your whole
person, which includes spiritual, mental, emotional, and
physical needs.
Mind-Body philosophy embraces the idea that all illnesses
surface from a root cause. And although some of your health
challenges may have arisen out of a particular gene pool or are
a result of your environment, our minds and emotions are major
players in managing physical diseases and imbalances

Gemstone Jewelry
The primary use for gems throughout history has
been for healing and spiritual rituals. Although gems were rare
and exhibited great beauty, the reason they were so precious was
due to the power they imparted to their wearers.
They are storehouses of empowerment, transmitted
through contact with one’s body. Kings and queens would have
gemstones set in their crowns to obtain their potencies. They
connected the monarchs with forces enabling them to rule guided
by cosmic energies. Priests of different religions used gems in
rings for similar reasons. Gems exhibit their power in a
beneficial or detrimental way – depending on how they are used.
The inherent powers of gemstones are recognized
by modern science in the technological uses of crystals in
watches, lasers, and computers, but the more subtle potencies,
such as their ability to promote physical healing in the body,
or their power to help balance human emotions, elude modern
science.
Here is an overview on the power of gems taken from
All you
wanted to know about Gems by Vijaya Kumar:
- All stones or gems have magnetic powers in varying degrees,
and many of them are beneficial to us for their therapeutic
cures.
- They emit vibrations and frequencies which have strong
potential influence on our whole being.
- They create strong energy fields which enable us to be
charged with their energies.
- The gems are used for healing, transforming, balancing, and
attuning the body, mind and soul.
- They are a manifestation of vibrancy, light and color, life,
textures, transparency and clarity.
- They activate our abilities, soothe and comfort, heal and
balance through the purity of their rays.
- The patterns in the stones reveal to us the changes that
keep taking place, indicating that life is change – that the
process of evolution is a cosmic law.
- Each gem, tuned to a particular ray, has a special role to
play.
- The gems can be cleaned by leaving them under running water
for six to eight hours. Or, bury them in some earth overnight,
and rinse them off. Or, keep the stone in the flame of a candle
until the candle melts. Or still, place the stone amongst a heap
of quartz for several days, whereby its energy is revived from
the contact of the quartz.
- The gem that is cleaned should be placed in direct sunlight,
for the sun is a great source of energy and purification.
- The more precious stones that you wear, the more strongly
will you be charged with cosmic forces, radiating out into your
surroundings.
- Wear your stones – Do not store them in a safe or jewelry
box, for you will be depriving your body of their tremendous
power.
- Precious stones have a way of healing emotions that
have been inharmonious.
- The stones selected for use should always be in contact with
one’s body to absorb their healing properties.

Natural Soaps infused with Essential Oils
Various essential oils have been used medicinally at different periods in
history.
Medical application proposed by those who sell medicinal oils range from
skin treatments to remedies for cancer, and often are based on nothing better
than historical accounts of use of essential oils for these purposes. Claims for
the efficacy of medical treatments and treatment of cancers in particular, are
now subject to regulation in most countries.
Smells can trigger vivid memories, involving sights, sounds
and emotional impressions of events in our distant past. A whiff of oatmeal
cookies evokes in-depth childhood memories of my grandmother baking her culinary
morsels of affection in a wood stove in her Northern Minnesota kitchen. In
addition to such memories, smells can initiate a cascade of physiological
responses affecting our entire body and mental outlook.
These responses form the basis for an ancient healing
tradition now called aromatherapy -a term coined by Rene Gatfosee, a French
chemist for the perfume industry.
He worked with volatile plant essential oils for fragrancing until one day he
had an explosion in his lab and was badly burned.
He plunged his arm into the nearest vat of liquid, which happened to be
lavender. To his amazement, the
pain stopped immediately, and no blistering or scarring occurred.
As a result, he changed his focus completely to the medicinal effects of
these oils.
Ancient Egyptians really are to be credited for the most
complex uses of the oils. To Egyptians, fragrance was of the utmost importance
as the goal was divinity. Bathing, anointing and using fragrances would emulate
and lead to holiness. In death,
people must smell of this holiness to be acceptable to the gods, and therefore
the sacred oils that corresponded to each organ would be used on the body after
death.
Their ancient wisdom receded due to history, politics and
religion. After Alexander the Great
conquered Egypt, the victors wanted all essential oil formulas, especially
aphrodisiacs and those that gave power over others.
